How to choose a tuning file service
Look for a real dump, a real person on the ticket, and a price you can add up before you pay. Skip the USB stick with 4.000 files.

A cheap slave tool with a folder of bins is not a file service. Those files were not written for your ECU. Sometimes they boot. Sometimes they brick a Monday.
What we would look for, if we were the workshop: credits you can see, a ticket that keeps the chat and the cloud link in one place, revisions that are not a new invoice every time the customer hates second gear. Same-day Stage 1 on stock hardware is normal. Custom Stage 3 is not a vending machine.
Ask where the original dump goes. If the answer is ‘email us a 40 MB zip’, you will lose a week. We use Dropbox, Drive or MEGA on purpose.
Read the brand page for the car in the yard — BMW, Audi, Toyota, Mercedes. Then open an account. If the first file is wrong, the chat is on that job, not a Facebook thread from 2019. Circuit and motorsport only. That sentence is not decoration. It is the scope of the work.
